My roots were in Ulster. Specifically Antrim and outside of Belfast in two areas called "Ballymacesh" and Ballybog". It would appear that distant family ties still reside in Lurgan and Lisburn.
I do NOT support the I.R.A. (or the I.R.S. either!) as I do not support "terrorism" on any level. I do feel that it is time for the British to cease their Human Rights violations in Northern Ireland and leave a lost cause, and for Ireland to decide her own path to destiny just as our Colonists had to do.
Rather than United States citizens sending money and guns to the IRA, we would better serve Ireland by pressuring OUR Congress to pressure Great Britain. We ought not to be meddling in ANY other country's affairs in my opinion.
