Welcome to our Web Site. We are located in
Longmont, Colorado. Longmont is in the Front Range of the great Rocky Mountains where the mountains meet the Great Plains. We are about an hour's drive on Interstate 25 north of Denver, about 20 minutes north of Boulder, 45 minutes south of Fort Collins and an hour, or so, south of Cheyenne, Wyoming. North of Denver is referred to as "Northern Colorado". The lifestyle here is uncluttered and still has the flavor of "country". If one drives 10-15 minutes in any direction they are out of the city. To our west are the foothills of the Rockies. Estes Park home to the Elk that roam freely and Rocky Mountain National Park with its breathtaking rugged granduer are less than an hour away. Not unusual to see the mountain goats and many other free roaming wildlife there. Skiing, hiking, boating, fishing, hunting and sight-seeing are abundant and close. Week-end getaways are practically endless. This area of the Front Range has more sunny days than Saudi Arabia. Usually, when we get snow we only get a few inches and usually that is followed by sun and warming to melt the snow. We do get an occasional Spring dump and rarely, a blizzard or heavy snow incident. In the summer we get the occasional thunderstorms and reasonable rain. But they come and go rapidly. It sometimes gets up to 85 degrees in the summer, but usually drops off to the 50's and 60's at night. The air is so clear here it is nice to sleep with the windows open. The city is growing at a reasonable rate while maintaining open and agrarian space. We have many reservoirs and lakes and fields that attract hundreds of wild Canadian geese. The geese roam freely about the city near the ponds and fields. Downtown, Main Street still has a flavor of the old West about it with plenty of restaurants to choose from. I, Dennis, was surprised when I moved here how friendly folks are. Perfect strangers will smile and say hello in passing and there is always some chat among strangers at the grocery store. If you need help all you have to do is ask here. Folks are neighborly and neighborhoods know one another.
