Carole S. Etcheverry and Dennis C. Towner


Carole was born in Joplin, Missouri. Within a year her parents moved to California where she was raised in Pasadena. Dennis was born in Lansing, Michigan and within a year his parents moved to Rochester, New York where he was raised until the age of ten. Dennis' family moved to Pasadena in 1955. Both attended elementary, junior high school, high school and junior college in Pasadena. They have known each other since 1957.
Both Carole and Dennis completed real estate school, were certified, passed the Colorado State Real Estate Brokers Exam and are currently licensed Real Estate Brokers in Colorado.

Carole taught English as a Second Language for 25 years and now volunteers her time teaching an ESL class at Spirit of Peace Catholic Church in Longmont. She is a past PTA President, GED Teacher, "At-Risk" high school student teacher. She was a volunteer reading teacher at Mayfield School of the Holy Child in Pasadena. In addition to having taught in California, Carole has also taught at Front Range Community College, Boulder Vocational Tech and others here in Colorado. Carole was also the Director of a Laubach Literacy Center for five years.
Carole worked with TKO Productions in Los Angeles producing "infomercials" and game show pilots. She assisted in the production of "AIDS Talk", an informational radio talk-show in Los Angeles.
Carole is the mother of two sons who both live in Colorado. She is co-owner of Meadowview Cleaners with one of her sons here in Longmont. Meadowview Cleaners is the only non-toxic cleaners in Boulder County employing the Green Earth technology of cleaning. Meadowview is a participant in the annual Fall "coat drive" in Longmont cleaning donated coats distributed to the less fortunate by the "OUR Center".
Carole got her real estate training as an agent with Fowler Real Estate in Boulder.
Carole, who learned to ski at age 30, has traveled extensively in Mexico and Asia. Grandmother to two bright grandsons, Carole enjoys baking with them and reading stories to them. She also enjoys baking, crocheting and mountain biking.
Carole is "mom" to three American Eskimo dogs, one Chow and three cats either rescued from the Humane Society or were strays.
Carole is an active member of, and Chaplain for, PEO Chapter II - Longmont.

Dennis studied commercial art in high school, junior college and at Woodbury University in Burbank, California where he gained his Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Art. His major was Advertising Design and his minor was business. He graduated as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. While in college Dennis worked as an interior designer for 2 business interiors companies and as art director for the sixth largest western based ad agency's Los Angeles office.
Prior to attending Woodbury University, Dennis was in the United States Army and served as a Public Information Specialist. His tour of duty took him through 16 countries where he gained a wide view of the world. While in the Army, he and his colleagues produced a weekly newspaper in Europe that netted all awards available to a military publication. He was honorably discharged in 1967 as a Specialist E-5.
Dennis has always had more than one job.
After graduation, Dennis and a partner established Image Development Group, an advertising agency in Pasadena, California. Dennis was the Vice-president and Creative Director for the company. IDG handled a diverse client base of manufacturing, retail, service businesses, non-profit organizations and the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce Business Development account.
While doing the advertising agency business, Dennis also became an artist manager and managed, produced and promoted bands during the 70's and 80's.
Dennis taught adult vocational education for the Pasadena Community College system and holds a Lifetime Teaching Credential in California.
In 1983 Dennis founded his own landscape contracting business and has done that to the present day. While doing the landscape business Dennis was also involved in property management for several years as maintenance and rehab supervisor and coordinator. At one point he had the maintenance budgets of over 30 properties, approximately 3,000 units, and the maintenance personnel under his direction.
In his spare time Dennis taught himself web page design and has done that since 1996.
Dennis learned to ski at age 35 in the California Sierra Mountains. He enjoys mountain biking, cooking and sailing.
