WHERE: Westin Atlanta North at Perimeter Center
WHAT: Friday, July 18, informal bash at the Seven Oaks Swim & Tennis Club in Alpharetta 7pm to 12am; Saturday, July 19, family-oriented event at Hammond Park in Sandy Springs 10am - 2pm with Bar-B-Q beginning at 11:00am. We’ll have toys and games for the kids, as well as entertainment for the entire family. Prices for adults will be $15 and kids under ten will be $7.50. An optional tour of Chamblee High School will begin at 3:00p at the school campus; Saturday, July 19 formal reunion event, cocktails at 7:30pm, buffet dinner at 8:30pm. Dancing and entertainment will follow dinner. Contact the hotel directly at 888-733-7666 to receive our group rate. A room rate of $89 (rates typically start at $129) has been reserved for our group. Please specify that you are part of the "Chamblee High School Class of 1983" room block. The block will be released on June 15th, so make your reservations early. ATTIRE:Black-tie optional

SPECIAL
The Billy's Island Reunion at the Stephan Foster State Park near Fargo. CONTACT: Bernice Roddenberry in Folkston, GA. The Billy's Island Reunion is held to bring together those who lived or worked on Billy's Island during the time the Hebard Cypress Company owned and logged the Okefenokee Swamp (1916-1930 approx.). The reunion is also open to anyone interested in the history of the swamp or the logging that was done there.
